All State Musical – July 15-18 and July 20-23

MidlandUArts is excited to announce that we will be hosting the All State Musical again this summer, July 15-18 and July 20-23, in Fremont, Nebraska. All State Musical is an auditioned summer intensive musical theatre camp where students from all over come together to put up a full-scale musical in three and a half days! Students can get involved by performing on stage, helping with lighting design, set building and costumes, and/or playing in our pit orchestra.
This year we will be doing Legally Blonde July 15-18 and Something Rotten! July 20-23. Students may audition in multiple areas if they wish to be involved in both shows.
- Performers will be asked to prepare a 32-bar up-tempo song of their choice. AND “My Country ‘Tis of Thee” without accompaniment in a key that is comfortable for them.
- Pit Musicians will be asked to prepare a 30 to 60-second selection of a song of their choice on their primary instrument. (Something Rotten! ONLY)
- Technicians will be asked to submit a 30 to 60-second explanation of their previous experience in tech and their strengths in this area.
- Tap Dancers will be asked to submit a 30 to 60-second video showing basic tap skills. You may submit a singing audition, but it is not required. (Something Rotten! ONLY)
There is a $25 non-refundable audition fee to submit an audition. If you are cast, this will be applied to the camp tuition of $210. If you are not cast, this application fee will be refunded.
If you are planning on being a part of both camps, your $25 non-refundable audition fee will be applied to the two-camp tuition of $285.
