The people have spoken, and Midland University Online was named a winner for Adult Education in the eighth annual Omaha Choice Awards.
Omaha Choice Awards honors top area businesses and services throughout the Omaha community in 14 different categories. Voting was conducted by the public over a three-week period in March and April and winners were announced on June 25.
“We are excited about the great things that are happening at Midland University Online,” said Jody Horner, President of Midland University. “Receiving this honor from the Omaha Choice Awards is another validation of all the hard work and dedication by our faculty and staff as they work to help individuals excel in their careers.”
Midland University Online was launched in the spring and offers 24 online programs featuring degrees, certificates, and endorsements to help individuals advance their careers.
“We are thrilled to have been selected as a winner of the Omaha Choice Awards for Adult Education,” said Brady Woudstra, Associate Vice President of Graduate and Online Operations. “We believe our Graduate and Online programs provide opportunities for adults and non-traditional students to gain the skills necessary to open doors and achieve their goals. It’s an honor to be recognized for the impact our adult and non-traditional students are having within Omaha, and how the skills they learned at Midland are relevant in their current and future work.”
