In Midland University’s MBA program, students and alumni have the opportunity to advance their skills by signing up for a free professional coaching benefit through our partner, the International Coaching Federation of Nebraska (ICF-NE).
Jamie Kelly, a volunteer ICF coach and Midland University faculty member, works with MBA students and alumni to help them embrace their full potential in all aspects of their lives.
What is Professional Coaching?
Professional coaching is a thought-provoking process that engages individuals in a creative process that helps the individual gain self-awareness and understand their potential to impact others. Individuals will also discover what they want from their careers – both now and into the future.
Overall, coaching is a reflective process that can help individuals uncover the bigger picture behind what they’re truly searching for – whether that’s a new company, a new position, or new career goal.
The Coaching Process
Professional coaches use questions, assessments and tools to guide each individual’s journey of exploration. It is vastly different from being managed, mentored, counseled, or consulted. The coaching process is guided by the coach and led by the person being coached.
Our Partner
ICF Nebraska is proud to partner with Midland University’s MBA program to provide emerging and experienced leaders professional coaching services. Through this free coaching benefit, MBA students and alumni will partner with a volunteer ICF coach to overcome any number of personal, or professional challenges that can get in the way of achieving meaningful goals.
