Homecoming 2024 Highlights

• Students participated in an array of activities throughout the week including a coffee bus, Hispanic Heritage Month Lunch, movie night, and coronation.
• More than 20 members of the class of 1974 were back on campus to celebrate their 50-year class reunion. Alums enjoyed a luncheon with a campus tour, a football tailgate, and a reunion breakfast.
• More than 300 alumni and friends attended the homecoming football tailgate.
• Members of the Clef Dwellers celebrated the 50th anniversary of the 1974 USO Tour.
• Over 100 members from the Watchorn football era were back to enjoy the football tailgate, football game, and a social gathering on campus. Members of the 1974 Mineral Water Bowl Championship Team were also recognized at the football game.
• Branden Brown ’10, Stacey (Howard) Damme ’03, Mackenzie Scheef-Coufal ’14, and the 2013–14 Men’s Basketball Team were inducted into the Warrior Hall of Fame on Friday, October 18th.
• Nyajuok Tongyik-Doluony ’09 (Outstanding Young Alumni Award), Shawn Arkfeld ’92 (Alumni Achievement Award), Tom Walker ’81 (Impact Award), and the Walker Family (Distinguished Midland Family) were honored at the Alumni & Legacy banquet on Sunday, October 20th.
• Victory Society and President’s Society members were honored at the Alumni & Legacy banquet on Sunday, October 20th.
• Alumni and friends gathered for a homecoming worship on Sunday, October 20th at Sinai Lutheran Church.
