Program Values

The Howard Hanson Honors Program is a community of scholars collectively pursuing academic excellence and personal development. Interdisciplinary seminars promote students’ cultural inquisitiveness through engaging readings, experiences, and group travel opportunities. Honors contract courses provide students an opportunity to pursue their individual academic passions and to work closely with faculty on individually-designed research projects. The program welcomes students who simultaneously participate in intercollegiate sports and/or additional extra-curricular activities.
