Overview
This immersive online workshop is tailored for individuals that want to adopt and improve Agile approaches. Through a dynamic blend of simulations, real-life scenarios, exercises, group discussions, and role plays, participants will gain hands-on experience in Agile practices.
Our comprehensive curriculum delves into all core aspects of Scrum, covering topics such as Scrum theory, accountabilities, events, sprint and increment, Scrum artifacts, and essential Scrum master competencies including facilitation, teaching, mentoring, and coaching.
Midland University is dedicated to delivering professional training that upholds the standards of the Scrum Alliance while maintaining academic integrity. Upon successful completion of our program, you’ll have the opportunity to take the CSM® Exam online. Your course registration includes exam fees and a two-year membership with the Scrum Alliance. Upon passing the exam, you’ll earn the esteemed title of Certified Scrum Master® valid for two years.

Throughout the course, you will come to understand both the how and why surrounding all of the major Scrum topics, including:
- Agile; history, common frameworks, defined v. empirical process, and the Agile Manifesto.
- Accountabilities of the Scrum Team; Scrum Master, Product Owner, and Development Team.
- Scrum Events; Sprint, Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
- Scrum Artifacts; Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, Increment.
- Definition of Done.
- Work estimation techniques.
Credit/Continuing Education
As a leading local university for CSM® Certification, we offer participants 1.5 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and 16 Scrum Educational Units (SEUs).
Additionally, certified Project Management Professionals (PMPs) can earn 16 PDUs through our program.
