Cost & Aid
We understand that the decision to earn a graduate-level degree, and graduate-level endorsements and certificates represents a serious investment of time and money. The programs offered provide invaluable experience for practicing educators, and it is an investment that will provide significant returns for the rest of your teaching career.
That said, there are plenty of ways to fund your higher education! We encourage you to contact us for more information about resources that are available to you at finaid@midlandu.edu or (402) 941-6520.
Scholarships & Other Funding
Midland University is proud to support students’ higher education by providing a multitude of funding opportunities for all kinds of situations.
The Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant Program provides grants of up to $4,000 per year to education students, up to a total of $16,000. These students must agree to serve as full‐time teachers in a high‐needs field for four years after their degree in a public or private elementary school, secondary school, or educational service agency that serves students from low‐income families.
If interested, please fill out the TEACH grant questionnaire.
Many school districts offer tuition assistance for employees who wish to earn advanced degrees. Please check with your Human Resources department to find out if your employer offers such a program. If your employer offers tuition assistance, but the Midland Master of Special Education is not yet an approved program, please contact us with the name and preferred contact information for the appropriate Human Resources representative within your district.

Tuition and fees are due for the term on the first day of each term. The Midland student accounts office can also work with you directly to set up a payment plan. Enrolling in the program requires a nonrefundable $250 enrollment deposit, which holds your seat in the incoming class. This deposit is applied to the first-term balance.
All payments should be submitted by the first day of the term. If a student believes they are going to miss the deadline, we ask that they please contact us before the start of the term.
Please note: Any student account balance will preclude registration in future terms.
Federal Financial Aid
