Application Instructions
The first step in applying to Midland University is the online application. Here, you will start to tell us more about your background, and you will create a login to upload all your supporting documents and see your admissions status at any point. Master of Science in Learning and Talent Development applicants should complete the graduate application.
You will begin by creating an account and verifying it via email. The online application will then ask for your contact information, details about your employment and academic history, and two academic references. Once you have submitted this information, you’ll be asked to upload the personal statement described below and officially request your transcripts from previous institutions to be submitted to Midland via mail or electronically.

Personal Statement
Your personal statement helps us get to know you and understand why you are interested in earning your Master of Science in Learning and Talent Development degree at Midland.
Your statement should address the following topics.
- Why are you interested in pursuing a Master of Science in Learning and Talent Development degree? How will an MS-LTD degree help advance your personal and professional interests?
- What personal and professional attributes make you a strong candidate for this academic program?
- How will other MS-LTD students benefit from your background, experiences, and values?
Please note: Your statement should be approximately two pages long.

Official transcripts from previous institutions can be submitted by mail to Midland University at 11213 Davenport Street, Suite 100, Omaha, NE 68154, or electronically at graduate.admissions@midlandu.edu. An official transcript is printed on security paper and includes the university seal and the registrar’s signature. Official transcripts are considered “official” only when they are issued directly to the receiving party through electronic and/or mail delivery or via the Clearinghouse or the institution’s sealed envelope.
