Step 1: Review Required Admissions Documents
Application
The first step in applying to Midland University is completing the online application. You will begin by creating an account and verifying it via email.
The online application will then ask for your contact information, personal statement, details about your employment and academic history, and two references. Once you’ve submitted this information, you’ll be prompted to upload the materials described below.

Personal Statement
The personal statement helps us get to know you and understand why you are interested in furthering your education at Midland. It should address the topics below in no more than two pages.
- Describe your career goals, your progress to date in achieving those goals, and how earning an MBA or certificate from Midland University will advance your vision for your career.
- How might other Midland students benefit from your background, experiences, and values?
- How have you served communities, groups, or organizations, both past and present, and how will further education allow you to strengthen those service contributions?
Official Transcripts
Official transcripts from previous institutions can be submitted by mail to Midland University at 11213 Davenport Street, Suite 100, Omaha, NE 68154, or electronically at graduate.admissions@midlandu.edu. An official transcript is printed on security paper and includes the university seal and the registrar’s signature. Official transcripts are considered “official” only when they are issued directly to the receiving party through electronic and/or mail delivery or via the Clearinghouse or the institution’s sealed envelope.

Resume
Applicants should submit a one-page business resume highlighting their employment and educational background. The employment section should include locations, titles, and dates. The education section should include dates of attendance and degrees received.
Transfer Credit
Those seeking to transfer in completed graduate-level coursework may request a transfer credit evaluation to determine which courses may transfer into the Midland MBA. All credit must have been earned in the last seven (7) years with a B (3.0) grade or higher for transfer consideration per the Midland University general transfer policy. Students are required to complete, at minimum, 60% of graduate credit through courses at Midland University.
Step 2: Schedule an Admissions Interview
Your interview with your enrollment specialist is a conversation about your interest in the program, intended to ensure that this certificate can help you reach your personal and career goals. Interviews can be scheduled outside of traditional business hours when needed as we accommodate the busy schedules of working professionals.
Interviews last roughly one hour and can be held at Midland University’s Fremont campus or Omaha location. Contact your enrollment specialist to schedule your interview.

Deposit
Your $250 deposit secures your place, triggers your enrollment in your first courses, and is non-refundable.
