The MCC2Midland program intentionally links Metropolitan Community College (MCC) programs directly to 4-year degree majors at Midland University, allowing students to get on the fast path to graduation! Most programs allow students to complete their 4-year degree at Midland University in two years or less, after completing the required coursework at MCC.

Midland University ensures a seamless transition and a limitless future. We are dedicated to your success, both academically and in co-curricular endeavors. As a MCC to Midland student, you will have the opportunity to choose to live on or off campus, and have the opportunity to participate in collegiate activities such as the performing arts and athletics should you choose to make this part of your experience.

Midland University’s Biology Program helps students understand the essential concepts and principles of biology with an emphasis on the individual’s responsibility in maintaining the balance of nature. Understanding biology is a life-long endeavor, and the Midland Biology Department strives to provide the basis for a continuing interest in the living world.

Students majoring in Business Administration gain a broad knowledge of the business world by selecting courses relevant to their desired career path. English

Midland University’s English major provides students with an intellectual and practical ground in the study of literature and literary methodology and practice. We focus on writing (critical, professional, and creative), and the English language’s history and structure.

With a curriculum designed to develop a wide variety of skills, Midland English students gain lifelong proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, listening, viewing, computer use, and research.

The Psychology and Sociology departments offer the Human Services major for those who desire to work in this field. In addition to classroom study, students will also have the opportunity to gain job-relevant skills, knowledge of the field, and clinical experiences through internships while working with local human services agencies.

Students in this major take core Human Services courses and pick across three different concentrations – Childhood & Adolescence, Adult & Family Development, or Community & Mental Health.

In addition to classroom study, students will also have the opportunity to gain job-relevant skills, knowledge of the field, and clinical experiences through internships while working with local human services agencies such as Lutheran Family Services, The Bridge, Head Start, Department of Health and Human Services, and the Masonic Eastern Star Home for Children, among others.

Students in this major take core Human Services courses and pick across three different concentrations – Childhood & Adolescence, Adult & Family Development, and Community & Mental Health.
