Yes! Click on the database that you wish to search from and a login screen will appear. Use your Midland credentials (same as Canvas) for your username and password. Once you log in, you will have full access to all of Luther Library’s databases.
When you are searching in a database, the first thing you should do is limit your searches to the full text. If you don’t do this, there will be articles that appear that won’t have the complete article. To limit your search to full text, look on the left-hand side of your screen and you will find two small arrows: By clicking this, it will expand your limiters. The first limiter listed is the full text. Once you check that box, your search will update to only full-text articles.
If there is an article that you would like that isn’t full text, you can request an Interlibrary Loan. To do this, you can use the Interlibrary Loan Request Google Form found under the Services tab on the Luther Library website.
The Formatting and Style Guide on the Purdue Owl is a great resource to assist you with in-text citations and works cited/bibliography page. This resource provides information on MLA and APA citations: https://owl.purdue.edu/owl/research_and_citation/resources.html
