College of Health Professions Minors
Midland University offers these undergraduate academic minors through the College of Health Professions. These minors must be completed in conjunction with an undergraduate degree.
Biology Minor
The Biology minor helps students understand the essential concepts and principles of biology with an emphasis on the individual’s responsibility in maintaining the balance of nature. With courses designed to emphasize critical thinking skills and active learning, students gain practical experience through laboratory practice.

Nutrition Minor
The Nutrition minor is designed to provide the student with a knowledgeable background in the basic concepts and principles of nutrition and other healthy lifestyle aspects. The minor is an excellent support for any health-related major. It will assist the student in a healthcare setting and physician clinics, wellness centers, health clubs, nursing homes, residential care facilities, and public health programs.
