FOCUS 2 is an online, self-guided system that will help you to identify a major at this college and occupations that best suit you and develop a career and education plan.

All sophomore-level students will participate in the MID201 Career Development Course, which gives them the opportunity to explore degree and career options, as well as the tools to create and practice foundational career-building components, such as resumes, cover letters, job searching, interviewing, and LinkedIn profile and social media branding. These are all services offered through the Career Studio, as well. 

In addition, Midland students have access to the Focus 2 degree and career exploration resource. Students can complete this assessment to understand the career planning process, increase self-awareness, explore majors at your college that match your interests and support your career goals, explore career fields and occupations that appeal to you, develop an action plan, and make informed decisions about your major and career.
