At Midland, we encourage students to be inspired by their dreams! The Career Studio team is here to work side by side with students, helping them to develop and execute their own strategy, making the most of their degree program, and leveraging all the resources that will help them to realize their dreams.

In addition, Midland’s DRIVE academic and co-curricular framework aligns with the work of the Career Studio. It is built on five key attributes – Digital Fluency, Research & Critical Thinking, Innovation, Vocation & Leadership, and Engagement & Expression, which are also rooted in the National Association of Colleges and Employers Career Readiness Competencies. These are the skills employers want and need of college graduates. Through the DRIVE model, we ensure our students gain experience in those key areas, both through academics and through the wide variety of extracurricular activities Midland has to offer.

Career development is not a “go it alone” process. It takes a team! Midland students are surrounded by faculty, staff, and leaders who care and want to empower students in their development, with resources to aid in that journey and opportunities to practice and build on strengths and skills. 

The Career Studio team works with students every day to help them achieve their career goals. Through the Career Studio, students have the opportunity to work side-by-side with their peers, building confidence and skills. 

We encourage all students to visit the Career Studio right away so that we can learn about you, listen to your aspirations, explore your options, coach, and collaborate with you to carve out a path to successfully reach your career goals.
